Scania Clutch Servo

Description

Scania Clutch Servo is a pneumatic or hydraulic assist device that reduces the effort needed to operate the clutch pedal in heavy-duty trucks. It is part of the clutch actuation system and is especially important in vehicles with manual or Opticruise transmissions.

Function:
Assists the driver in depressing the clutch by using air pressure or hydraulic pressure.
Ensures smooth clutch engagement and disengagement.
Reduces driver fatigue, especially during heavy traffic or long hauls.
Helps protect the clutch master cylinder and clutch components by ensuring proper clutch stroke.

Signs of a Failing Clutch Servo:
Heavy clutch pedal effort. Inconsistent or delayed clutch engagement. Air leaks (hissing sound) near clutch pedal.
Spongy or soft clutch feel. Fluid leaks (in hydraulic versions)

Maintenance & Replacement Tips:
Always check for air leaks, worn seals, or broken return springs.
