Description

Scania Pressure Plate is a crucial part of the clutch assembly in Scania trucks. It works in conjunction with the clutch disc and flywheel to engage and disengage the engine from the transmission, enabling smooth gear shifting and power delivery.

Function:
The pressure plate applies constant force to the clutch disc against the flywheel via springs.
When the clutch pedal is pressed, the pressure plate releases this force, allowing the disc to separate and disconnect engine power from the gearbox. It must withstand high torque loads, heat, and friction.
